I think Glen has summed up things well. I to will miss the old setup but change is the basis of all and as the confusion

wears off and I grope my way around less like a blind man, I begin to like this new setup.

Really hate to hear about such a far out dealership closing up, Glen. An indoor MX track at a dealership- a novelty and then some. Thats the way to let folks demo the off road toys and get them on the hook.

Until our current Emperor is gone we can only expect more status quo, which as the Great President RR once said was just

another term for 'the mess we're in'.

It does look like bike sales will do well with OPEC manipulating gas prices upward once again.

Thanks for the feedback Glenn, I had a hard time switching the site over.  I put a lot of thought in to it and then just decided to go for it.  Hopefully the new design will bring in other regulars and we can create something really special for the biker community.

I hate to hear about the shop closing.  Looked like a really cool place.  I know dealers around here are struggling too.  Hopefully they can hold out until the economy improves.

Happy New Year Buddy!

Wow!  Very slick, looks professional and corporate – almost too commercial me.  I kind of miss the little forum you started – seemed more personal but I guess that's progress (I was one of the last holdouts using Netscape Navigator, didn't want to switch to Microsoft's new product, Internet Explorer, even though I knew it was better).  Once I learn to navigate the new site, I'm sure I'll like the new features and of course, I already appreciate the work you do to bring this site to us members.

And……just to keep it a little personal – what's new with me?  Well, my bike is on the lift, cover on, battery tender attached.  I'm a fair weather rider, so it needs to be dry and above 50 before I'll throw a leg over the saddle.  Up here in Seattle, that time is a long ways off.  And kind of a bummer, but a sign of the times, the huge dealership that was just down the road from me suddenly closed up.  No warning, no going out of business sale, just one day earlier this month, they locked the doors.  I bought my new Ninja 650 there back in 2010.  They sold the big four, including ATVs, personal watercrafts, and toy haulers.  Had a collection of vintage Hondas, a huge parts and accessories department, a restaurant and at one time, and indoor motocross track.  They will be missed.

This is about half the showroom.  There were also conference rooms, a restaurant upstairs, and a huge accessories and apparel area.

Happy New Year everyone!  Looking forward to a great riding season in 2012.  Who knows, maybe I'll even get that Ducati I've been lusting for all these years.  sf wink Forum

Oh man, I love it.  So much more information available on the home page.  I look forward to digging in.  Other regulars chime in and tell us what you think.  So far I like what I see.
